Zusammenfassung

Philips is seeking a Software Designer (C++) to shape the software behind image-guided therapy systems. You will design, implement and test display software for X-ray imaging platforms within the Imaging Chain Cluster, ensuring reliability and future readiness.

You will work on C++11/C#, legacy Windows code, and model-based design with automatic code generation, collaborating in an Agile Release Train across the Netherlands and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Around five years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ and C, including legacy software; comfortable developing for Windows.
• Experience with model-based design and automatic code generation.
• Experience in a regulated industry; collaborative and continuous-improvement mindset; pair programming and AI-assisted software development.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and test software for the imaging chain of Philips X-ray systems, focusing on display software for the Azurion platform.
• Translate system needs into robust designs, define interfaces and maintain documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and modernize C++11, C, with legacy code; Windows environment experience; model-based design and automatic code generation.
• Work at the intersection of software and hardware to ensure quality, maintainability and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate in an Agile Release Train with software, system, hardware and quality stakeholders in the Netherlands and internationally.
• Apply continuous-improvement practices, pair programming and AI-assisted development to strengthen delivery and product quality.
