Job summary

Philips Iberica SAU seeks a Software Designer (C++) to shape the software behind image-guided therapy systems. You will design, implement and test display software for Philips X-ray imaging platforms, focusing on the Azurion platform and ensuring long-term reliability.

The role requires a bachelor's or master's in CS/SE/IT with around five years of software experience, strong C/C++ skills on Windows, plus model-based design, code generation and regulated-medical device experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• About five years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ and C, including legacy code, on Windows.
• Experience with model-based design and automatic code generation.
• Experience in regulated medical-device environments and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test software for the imaging chain of Philips X-ray systems, focusing on display software for the Azurion platform.
• Translate system needs into robust designs, define interfaces and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate in an Agile Release Train with software, system, hardware and QA stakeholders.
• Apply TDD/BDD, pair programming and AI-assisted development to improve delivery.
