Job summary

Philips in the Netherlands seeks a Software Designer (C++) to design, implement and test display software for imaging systems. You will work on the Azurion platform, translating needs into robust software designs and interfaces, while maintaining documentation.

You bring 5 years of experience with C/C++, Windows, model-based design, and TDD/BDD in regulated environments, plus collaboration in Agile Release Trains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• About five years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ and C, including legacy code on Windows.
• Experience with model-based design and automatic code generation.
• Experience in regulated medical-device environments and agile practices.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD and AI-assisted development.
• Nice to have healthcare/MedTech experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test software for the imaging chain display.
• Translate requirements into robust software designs and maintain interfaces.
• Collaborate in an Agile Release Train with cross-functional teams.
