Job summary

Randstad Professional collaborates with Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems R&D in Best to hire a C++ Software Architect for 3D medical imaging. You will craft architectural designs, guide external teams, and ensure robust deployment on the Philips Azurion platform.

The role requires a Master’s in CS/EE/Math and 10+ years in software, with 3+ years in architecture or P.O./Staff roles, strong C++20 and 3D rendering expertise. Hybrid on-site work in Best/Eindhoven.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent discipline.
• At least 10 years in software engineering, including ≥3 years as Architect/Tech PO/Staff Engineer in Agile.
• Proven hands-on experience with C++20 and SOLID design patterns.
• Experience with 3D rendering using DirectX or OpenGL and computational geometry.

Responsibilities

• Translate software roadmaps into robust architectural designs and implementation plans.
• Embed and guide external scrum teams during early prototyping and lifecycle execution.
• Architect high-performance software using modern C++ and 3D rendering engines.
• De-risk technical designs early to ensure deployment on the Philips Azurion platform.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to elevate engineering practices.
