Job summary

Suntory Beverage & Food Benelux is seeking a Senior Buyer - Packaging Plastic PET Preforms & Bottles to lead the strategic packaging category and set standard budget prices. You will monitor PPV and drive negotiations to meet financial targets.

In this role you will collaborate across finance, supply, quality, innovation and ESG, conducting regular supplier reviews and applying SRM methodologies to optimise performance and sustainability. Strong English is required; French/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Academic background in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain; packaging industry knowledge is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and Procurement IT tools.
Demonstrated negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities; collaborative team spirit.
Agile, flexible, analytical, organised; able to meet deadlines.
Curious, proactive and genuinely interested in categories.
Fluent in English; French/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Set standard budget prices for the assigned sub‑categories and monitor PPV.
Achieve financial targets through negotiation and cost/value optimisation.
Own a strategic packaging category with impact across finance, supply, quality, innovation and ESG.
Define and execute category strategy; lead supplier negotiations and performance management.
Drive continuous improvement across the packaging value chain.
Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers and monitor KPIs incl. SLA compliance.
Leverage SRM 80/20 analysis to evaluate supplier performance and plan actions; follow up.
