Job summary

JDE Peet’s in the Netherlands is seeking a Global Category Manager for Packaging & Process Equipment. You will own the global category strategy for a strategic CAPEX portfolio, manage a significant global spend, and shape supplier ecosystems and executive investments.

You will partner with Global Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, drive innovation, standardization, and total cost of ownership. You will lead negotiations, build OEM partnerships, and coach regional procurement teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in technical procurement, engineering, manufacturing or CAPEX sourcing.
• Experience leading global sourcing strategies and multi-million-euro investment projects.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience with leading OEMs in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical or similar.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in negotiations and TCO.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the global category strategy aligned with manufacturing and supply chain objectives.
• Lead commercial strategies for major CAPEX investments and framework agreements.
• Influence executive stakeholders on investment decisions and supplier roadmaps.
• Build executive partnerships with strategic OEMs and lead Executive Business Reviews.
• Drive supplier innovation, standardization and manufacturing competitiveness globally.
• Deliver multi-year value through cost optimization, sustainability and risk reduction.
• Lead complex negotiations and governance for high-value global sourcing.
• Develop strategies to mitigate geopolitical, financial and supply continuity risks.
• Represent Procurement in global steering committees and governance.
• Coach regional procurement teams and promote procurement excellence.
