Job summary

Travix International is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join the centralized data & analytics team, driving data initiatives, unlocking assets, and delivering insights across business units.

You’ll be the in-house expert in data best practices, AI/LLM usage in analytics, and work with multiple teams to translate data into strategic and tactical recommendations. This role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration and data as a single source of truth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Econometrics, or another relevant study, or equivalent practical experience.
• More than 5 years of experience as a Data or BI Analyst.
• Strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems.
• Strong technical accomplishments in SQL and data analysis skills.
• Expertise in visualization technologies using modern BI tools.
• Advanced ability to leverage LLMs for SQL generation, Python scripting, and data summarization.
• A solid foundation in data modeling concepts.
• Experience with analytics frameworks for business teams and AI tool exploration.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal business stakeholders to understand major challenges and opportunities, and brainstorm and execute solutions involving advanced applied analytics methodologies.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of priorities and challenges, identify data blind spots, and define a strategy with data engineering.
• Develop and lead complex analytical projects building foundations for data analysis using SQL and Python.
• Create complex SQL queries that transform data into ready-to-use optimized datasets.
• Build KPI-driven dashboards and analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Communicate insights clearly and manage stakeholders as a single source of truth.
• Be the primary point of contact for all analytical and data questions for the business team.
