Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own complex data products from questions to delivery. You will partner with senior stakeholders and technologists, contributing hands-on to data models and semantic layers for AI-based solutions while delivering reliable, reusable outcomes at pace.

You will collaborate across the STMJ Data & Analytics team to transform data into actionable insights that shape strategy and drive performance, innovation, and customer value within a global research

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in a data-oriented role and ownership of complex analytics projects.
• Strong communication with senior and technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in data prep and blending using tools such as Excel or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted product development practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage complex analytics projects from planning through delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, analytics engineers and other technologists.
• Influence senior stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making.
• Adopt emerging tools and techniques to improve solutions and speed.
• Coach juniors in engagement, design and end-to-end project management.
