Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development and build management experience.
• Hands-on Bazel development experience.
• Deep Bazel concepts: Rules, Macros, Platforms, RBE, Caching, Toolchains, Hermetic Builds.
• Strong Go and Python programming skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub and IBM Rational ClearCase.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain build and release infrastructure.
• Implement and optimize Bazel-based build systems and workflows.
• Develop and maintain build automation using Go and Python.
• Support software integration and release management processes.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve build performance and reliability.
• Ensure build environments follow best practices for quality and reproducibility.
• Manage source code repositories and version control processes.
• Troubleshoot build, integration, and deployment issues.
• Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and execution of engineering work packages.
• Present technical challenges, progress updates, and solutions to stakeholders.
