Partner Company in the Netherlands seeks a Software Engineer - Solutions Engineering to join a globally distributed team focused on transforming how modern infrastructure is built, operated, and automated.

You will develop open source software enabling efficient DevOps workflows across bare-metal systems, private clouds, Kubernetes, and HPC environments, with hands-on Python and Go and deep exposure to the Linux stack. 10% travel possible.

Qualifications

• Experience as software engineer with focus on Python development.
• Strong emphasis on reliable, maintainable software and dependable operations in Agile environments.
• Practical knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver open source software operations code using Python and Go.
• Work across Linux stack including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, and containers.
• Build and improve open source infrastructure for monitoring, alerting, automation, and reliable operations.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and contribute to upstream projects.
