Job summary

BAS World, part of BAS Holding B.V., is seeking a Medior Software Engineer to join one of our product teams in Veghel. You will design, build and maintain scalable software, independently taking on features and technical challenges while collaborating with engineers, the Product Owner and business colleagues to ensure customer value.

You will contribute to quality through readable, tested code, participate in reviews, and help drive improvements in CI/CD, observability and security.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineer delivering features end-to-end.
• Ability to work independently within product teams and take ownership.
• Strong collaboration with engineers, product owners and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable software across product teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, the Product Owner and business colleagues to understand customer value.
• Write readable, testable, and maintainable code with attention to testing and quality.
• Review code, pair programming, and share knowledge within the team.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Identify technical debt and experiment with new technologies with the team.
