TNO is seeking a senior business developer to expand the market for biobased chemicals and technology platforms. You will map European segments, engage with decision-makers, and drive innovation projects from concept to demonstration.

You will build a broad pipeline and collaborate with R&D experts to translate market needs into value propositions and multi-year collaborations. Extensive travel in Europe is expected.

Competenze

• University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, process engineering, materials science or comparable field.
• Experience in business development or market development within biobased chemicals or sustainable chemistry.
• Strong network in the Netherlands and/or Europe within biobased chemistry or renewable carbon.

Mansioni

• Actively develop the market for new biobased chemicals and technology platforms.
• Collaborate with customers to develop innovation and scale-up programmes.
• Map European market segments, value chains and decision-makers.
• Identify challenges and translate drivers into concrete business opportunities.
• Develop new leads and opportunities, including in absence of existing relationships.
• Represent TNO and Biorizon at trade fairs and conferences.
