Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Biopharma Production Specialist to drive growth in the Netherlands and Southern Europe, building sustainable partnerships with biopharma customers and positioning Avantor as a preferred supplier.

You will develop market insight, manage sales activities in the territory, travel across Europe, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions in monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and bioprocess systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Genetic Engineering, or another relevant life sciences discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry or a related life sciences sector.
• Business-fluent English and ability to travel regularly across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Increase regional awareness of Avantor’s value proposition as a manufacturer and supplier of bioprocess chemicals and single‑use technologies.
• Promote products and services that support manufacturing of monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, cell and gene therapies, peptides, and other biologics.
• Engage with customers in value-added programs and technical projects in collaboration with Technical Applications Specialist teams.
• Build and maintain long‑term business relationships with customers to strengthen loyalty and drive sustainable growth.
• Execute company strategies to achieve sales growth across the assigned region.
• Identify and lead development of new custom manufacturing opportunities.
