Job summary

TNO is seeking a Senior Business Developer in Ecosystem Development & Scale-up to lead external collaboration across sectors, align public and private interests, and translate challenges into concrete programmes and funding opportunities.

You will build decision-making networks, mobilise organisations, and ensure value creation for the ecosystem while aligning with the Market Director's strategic agenda.

Qualifications

• A university Master’s degree in a relevant field (business admin, economics, innovation management, engineering or policy).
• At least ten years of professional experience, e.g., at a large company, startup/scale-up, or public-private sector.
• Demonstrable experience in building networks and ecosystems with multiple organisations.
• Proven track record in business development and creating concrete opportunities, funding or investments.
• Experience working with businesses and in public-private partnerships.
• Experience bringing together parties with different interests around a shared challenge.
• Ability to translate market needs into relevant knowledge within TNO.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Energy, entrepreneurship and flexibility.
