Job summary

Return, a leading European energy storage specialist, invites a Senior Deal Structurer to join its Transactions team in Amsterdam. You will own end-to-end structuring of BESS origination deals, while occasionally supporting M&A activity for new projects and growth opportunities.

You will collaborate with origination, finance and project teams to ensure bankable, well-risked transactions from origination through close.

Qualifications

• Experience structuring deals in energy/utility sectors is essential.
• Strong grasp of risk allocation and bankability in complex transactions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across commercial, legal and finance areas.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate BESS off-take agreements translating objectives into bankable deal terms.
• Identify, allocate and mitigate risks across deals with origination, finance and technical teams.
• Ensure deals meet project finance and equity funding requirements; act as bridge to bankability.
