Job summary

Globalprofessionals is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate robust services that enable seamless onboarding and payments experiences. You will join a cross-functional team that values ownership, collaboration, and high-quality delivery.

This is a hybrid position with regular in-office presence mid-week and remote flexibility otherwise. You will design and implement backend services for payments and onboarding, apply clean architecture, and maintain production systems.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience building distributed backend systems.
• Strong system-design skills and clean-architecture discipline.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js preferred; Java/Go is also welcome.
• User-focused with a data-driven and observability mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate backend services for payments and onboarding workflows.
• Apply clean architecture and best practices for stability and scalability.
• Write clean, testable code and follow team coding standards.
