Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to rebuild a next-generation Debit & Credit card platform. You’ll own features end-to-end, from issuance to PIN, with a backend-heavy focus and solid frontend fluency.

You’ll work in international teams, refining and deploying code to containerized OpenShift environments via Azure DevOps, contributing to a scalable payments platform across countries.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience, backend-focused but able to work confidently across the front end as well.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Kafka, Cassandra, Oracle; familiarity with Lit HTML/Web Components on the front end.
• Solid grasp of test automation (e.g. WireMock), CI/CD, and deployment tooling: Azure DevOps, Helm, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker.
• Proven lead developer experience - you've owned a feature end-to-end, from design through deployment.
• Strong conceptual/architectural thinking and the ability to quickly pick up unfamiliar tech.
• Comfortable working in international, multidisciplinary, iterative teams.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of features powering card services, from issuance and blocking to limit changes and PIN requests.
• Help consolidate legacy Debit/Credit systems into a single reusable, scalable platform.
• Refine, code, test, and deploy your work to containerized cloud environments on OpenShift via Azure DevOps.
• Work in a ground-up platform rebuild with scope to scale across countries.
• Collaborate in a multinational, agile team to deliver high-impact payments solutions.
