Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot, Agentic LLMs) for a fully remote role based in the Netherlands. You will build high-performance backend services for a global aviation platform, focusing on distributed systems, REST APIs, and AI-enabled workflows.

• Six+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Proficient with Spring Boot 2.x/3.x and Hibernate 5.x/6.x.
• Experience building scalable REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong PostgreSQL relational modeling and Hibernate data persistence.
• Hands-on with LLM-based applications, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot is a plus.
• Proficient in English at B2+ level (C1 preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to testing and delivery.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for web and mobile clients.
• Develop distributed services with reliable communication between components.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar.
• Ensure data integrity and performance in PostgreSQL/Hibernate models.
• Apply AI/LLM techniques to backend processes and automation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into tech solutions.
