Accenture NL is seeking a Senior AI-native Java Engineer to help reinvent the future of application development. You will design and build enterprise-scale Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices, while adopting AI-Augmented SDLC practices to accelerate delivery.

The role requires about 7 years of professional software engineering, strong cloud experience, API-first design, and leadership to mentor teams. Dutch language skills are a plus, with hybrid work and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Approximately 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, and Platform Engineering.
• Distributed systems and modern software architecture.
• API-First and Spec-Driven Development.
• AI Engineering Experience: AI-Augmented SDLC.
• Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
• AI Agents and Agentic Workflows.
• RAG and modern AI architectures.
• AI-powered developer tooling and engineering productivity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies.
• Drive adoption of AI-Augmented SDLC practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Build AI-powered solutions leveraging LLMs, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and intelligent automation.
• Implement Spec-Driven Development using OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and API-first engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate with architects, AI engineers, consultants, and client teams to deliver innovative business solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and help establish best practices for AI-native Engineering.
