Vinted Go is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale backend services powering mid-mile transport and warehouse operations. You will own end-to-end initiatives from architecture through deployment, contribute to a modular Rails monolith, and mentor others to raise the team’s engineering standards.

You will work with Ruby, Vitess, Kafka, Jenkins, Elastic, and observability tools, collaborating with Product, Operations, and other squads to deliver reliable, scalable logistics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Ruby experience or willingness to learn Vinted's stack.
• Solid API design and production-operating skills.
• Ability to mentor teammates and share knowledge.
• English proficiency is essential.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for mid-mile transport and warehouse ops.
• Own end-to-end initiatives from design to monitoring and iteration.
• Evolve our core Ruby on Rails monolith toward clearer module boundaries and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product and Operations to shape discovery and RFCs.
• Mentor teammates, onboard new members, and promote best practices.
• Own reliability, alerts, metrics, and on-call responsibilities.
