Job summary

Vinted Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Staff / Senior Staff Security Engineer for Vinted Go. You’ll be the first dedicated security engineer inside our logistics business, building security posture to match growth.

You’ll own end-to-end security across carrier integrations, locker hardware, sorting facilities, driver and warehouse apps, and external partners, embedding security into design time. This is an engineering role with a federated model and room to grow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience across design and incident response.
• Experience building or maturing a security capability in a large org.
• Experience with detection and response in production environments.
• Evidence-based approach: attack paths over checklists, fixes over findings.

Responsibilities

• Own the Vinted Go security roadmap end to end, prioritise attack paths and drive risk to closure.
• Secure carrier integrations, locker and PUDO hardware, sorting facilities, and driver/warehouse apps.
• Stand up Vinted Go's Security Ops capability for detection, response, and vulnerability management.
• Embed security into engineering design with external partners to shift security left.
• Own third-party security across 40+ carriers and vendors, setting requirements and managing risk.
• Represent Vinted Go in security governance and maintain risk registers.
