Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Node.js/Python) to lead backend and AI-powered systems in a fully remote setup based in Europe. You will architect, develop, and operate scalable services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python, collaborating with AI engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust APIs and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building production-grade web services.
• Strong CS fundamentals and distributed systems expertise.
• Expert in Node.js and TypeScript with Express or NestJS.
• Proven RESTful API design including auth, versioning, pagination, rate limiting.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven patterns, and CQRS.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD proficiency.
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL; English proficiency; growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable web services and APIs.
• Operationalize Python-based AI tools within Node.js/Python backends.
• Make high-level architectural decisions balancing scalability and reliability.
• Maintain production-grade RESTful APIs with secure authentication and versioning.
