Job summary

Samskip seeks a Sales Executive for Region Iberia & Morocco to own end-to-end commercial activities, expand the customer portfolio and translate market potential into profitable business. You will work across Sales, Trade, Customer Service, Operations and Finance in a truly international B2B setting.

Based at Samskip’s Rotterdam HQ with a hybrid model, you will develop your market independently while collaborating with regional and international teams to drive sustainable revenue and long-term

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development or commercial account management.
• Proven track record in business development, customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Experience within intermodal, rail, road transport or logistics is advantageous.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; German or another European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial growth strategy for Region Iberia & Morocco.
• Drive commercial growth by building a clear sales strategy aligned with regional objectives.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities, negotiate and close contracts.
• Manage and grow key customer relationships to increase share of wallet.
• Monitor market and customer landscape, including pricing and competition, to identify risks.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate CRM forecasting and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver commercially viable logistics solutions.
