Job summary

Samskip, Rotterdam-based, is looking for an Inside Sales Executive to support the sales team from inquiry to quotation and handover to Operations. You will manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and maintain accurate sales administration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a similar sales position
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the sales process and conversation techniques
• Strong pro-active attitude, takes initiative and anticipates challenges to drive efficiency and success
• Result- and solution-oriented
• Relationship builder and team player
• Professional and responsible with high 'can-do' attitude
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for incoming customer enquiries regarding rates, services and transport solutions and assess customer requests to ensure these are handled efficiently or directed to the appropriate Sales Executive where required.
• Provide timely and professional responses via phone and email.
• Support the General Sales Manager and Sales Executives with daily commercial activities and customer communication.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through responsive and service-oriented communication.
