Job summary

Luscii is seeking an experienced Android Developer to build and evolve mobile health apps in a remote-friendly setup. You will own technical direction, collaborate with QA and support, and drive initiatives from prototype to production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Android, strong Kotlin skills, and experience with MVVM/MVI, Jetpack Compose, and CI/CD. English fluency is required; Agile experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least five years of Android or mobile development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and coroutines.
• Experience with clean architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and testing pipelines.
• Comfort with performance optimization and mobile reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise Android apps in Kotlin with focus on performance and UX.
• Shape mobile architecture using sound design patterns (MVVM/MVI).
• Build prototypes to explore ideas and validate approaches early.
• Develop features that communicate with BLE devices.
• Investigate and fix production issues to keep apps reliable.
• Review code and share technical guidelines with teammates.
• Explore Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Multiplatform to add value.
