Job summary

Shine is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and scale the AI-native SDLC platform, embedding advanced tooling into developer workflows across Europe. You will ship production-grade components and collaborate with product engineering to raise adoption and reliability.

In this senior IC role you will own delivery, work with teams in Berlin and other EU hubs, and help define standards for trust, observability, and performance in AI-powered systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering with production systems.
• Hands-on AI-native engineering skills across agents and multi-step workflows.
• Experience with eval and observability for non-deterministic AI systems.
• Strong collaboration across product and engineering teams and CI/CD delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-native SDLC platform components (agent workflows, MCP servers, presets).
• Write production code for agent infrastructure and tooling integrations.
• Embed with product teams to introduce AI-native workflows and debug friction.
• Create credible, working examples in real repositories for pattern adoption.
• Develop eval harnesses and observability for non-deterministic systems.
• Contribute to coding standards and model/tool evaluation.
