Job summary

Aquablu in Amsterdam is seeking a senior platform engineer to build and own the infrastructure that powers rapid, safe product shipping. You’ll craft the prototyping environments, CI/CD pipelines, test harnesses, AI tooling, and runtime for AI agents and automated workflows.

You’ll be the domain expert for the digital org, setting testing and eval strategies, defining guardrails, and ensuring everything ships fast, reliably, and affordable. Office presence is four days per week.

Qualifications

• Real, hands-on engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Has led end-to-end systems at senior level under ambiguity.
• Built or operated agentic AI systems in production.
• Daily work with AI agents and automated workflows.
• Background in platform, infra, or developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build sandbox and scaffolding for faster prototyping.
• Own CI/CD path to production with safety.
• Develop automated testing and quality gates.
• Own QA for the digital org and testing strategy.
• Create eval suites and guardrails for AI features.
• Maintain runtime for AI agents and workflows.
• Lead tooling strategy across the team.
