Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior AI/ML Consultant for Professional Services in Amsterdam. You will lead end-to-end AI/ML engagements, architect advanced solutions with Bedrock and SageMaker, and mentor junior consultants while coordinating across teams.

The role combines strategic delivery with hands-on technical leadership, influencing customer AI strategies and driving scalable ML deployments in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cloud-based solution design and architecture.
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with object-oriented languages.
• Experience in data and machine learning engineering and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience building complex highly-scalable systems with predictive models or ML applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML engagements from strategy to deployment.
• Architect and implement solutions using AWS AI/ML services, focusing on Generative AI with Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.
• Translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes and delivery roadmaps.
• Drive innovation and reusable methodologies across the practice.
• Influence customer AI strategy with technical skills and industry insights.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate stakeholders to deliver high-impact AI solutions.
• Provide thought leadership in internal and external engagements.
• Support pre-sales with technical expertise and scoping/risk reviews.
