Job summary

Ritchie Bros. in Breda, The Netherlands, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Senior to join our Europe and Middle East shared service centre.

You will review, correct and validate invoices and payments, lead the AP team during month/quarter/year close, support audits, and respond promptly to payment reminders. You will verify authority, oversee employee expenses, and help train the team to improve our processes in collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Must have MBO accounting degree and strong numerical skills.
• Minimum 2 years in EU accounts payable environment.
• Experience with Oracle ERP is required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, correct and validate invoices and payments.
• Lead and support the AP team during the month/quarter/year close.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Accurate and timely responses to Payment Reminders and queries.
• Verifies signing authority of invoices, purchases orders and expense reports.
• Audit and support employee expenses (T&L).
• Support, guide and train the team members and monitor the bookings according to our accounting structure. Work close to Project team to improve and simplify our processes.
• Other general tasks that are related to Accounts Payable.
