Job summary

Breitling in Lijnden seeks an AP Specialist to support the Dutch accounting team with general accounting tasks and closing activities, focusing on accounts payable for the Benelux & Europe Ecom markets. You will maintain vendor data, process payments, and help ensure timely reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP, a degree in Accounting or Finance, advanced Excel skills, and experience with SAP. Fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch and French are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Accounts Payable, international environment, incl. Benelux.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Result-driven working attitude.
• Flair for accounting systems and data management.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent English; proficient Dutch and French.
• Knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Book transactions at GL and sub-ledger level.
• Support AP activities for Benelux & Europe Ecom markets, including VAT reconciliation.
• Analyze and clear open items to keep financial statements up to date.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks to improve processes and data quality.
• Assist in preparation of financial reporting.
• Maintain vendor master data.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors.
• Follow up on outstanding payments with vendors.
