Job summary

JDE Peet's in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for the Netherlands and contribute to a global HR transformation. You will ensure compliance with Dutch legislation and align local processes with global standards.

In this role you will drive improvements, support cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance and international teams, and act as a trusted expert on complex payroll topics, shaping global payroll practice within a leading coffee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree HBO level (Business Administration or similar)
• 3-5 years payroll experience, ideally international
• Strong knowledge of Dutch payroll legislation and tax regulations
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP Workforce & Strada) and strong Excel skills
• Experience with system implementations, migrations, or process improvements
• Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Key responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing, including complex calculations and statutory requirements, as well as all related post-payroll activities
• Ensure payroll accuracy through reconciliations, reporting, and audit support
• Monitor and improve payroll systems and support enhancements or migrations
• Act as a subject matter expert for payroll-related queries and stakeholder advice
• Ensure compliance with Dutch legislation and internal policies while driving process improvements
• Contribute to payroll transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
