Job summary

Manus is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team and report to the Controller. You will handle monthly closes, complex journal entries, and management reporting, working closely with finance leadership.

This fully remote role within the Netherlands requires Dutch GAAP proficiency, multi-currency experience, and strong MS Excel skills. You will supervise the AP/AR function and contribute to audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Multi-currency and multi-entity experience
• Hands-on with accrual accounting theory and practice
• Proficient in Dutch GAAP
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel
• Fluent English required
• Residence in the Netherlands and eligibility to work (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Close the books and perform reporting duties including journals and analysis
• Manage payroll tax, VAT returns, ICP declarations, and support statutory audits
• Oversee AP/AR processes, mentor analysts, and participate in special projects
