OrthoPediatrics in the Netherlands is seeking a finance professional to support strong financial reporting and internal controls across Europe and select EMEA markets, with Breda office presence.
You will manage day-to-day accounting for Dutch and German entities, assist the monthly close, and help ensure accurate, auditable records while contributing to ERP and data quality initiatives.

This role reports to the Finance Lead for the Netherlands and supports accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with relevant fiscal and regulatory requirements. This is a role based in the Netherlands, with office presence in Breda required. You will help support our continued growth, including the activities from our European sister company in Germany. The role will contribute to designing practical structures, improving processes, strengthening controls, and supporting ERP and IT system developments that enable scalable finance operations. You will also help administer the German ERP environment where required within its limited scope.

The role offers broad exposure to finance operations, international and interdepartmental collaboration, ERP improvement, controls, reporting, and process optimization. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Five or more years of relevant finance experience in the Netherlands is preferred, although equivalent education, training, certifications, or practical experience will also be considered. Familiarity with the orthopedic, medical device, healthcare, or distribution environment is an advantage.
Professional written and verbal communication skills are required. Fluency in Dutch and English is required; German language skills at a functional business level are a strong advantage.
Ability to perform various financial analyses.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Requires a valid work permit for The Netherlands.
Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and contribute to quality outputs within deadlines. Comfortable participating in meetings, sharing ideas, and supporting continuous improvement. Experience with ERP and accounting software is required, and exposure to supply chain, purchasing, and inventory systems is preferred. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required. Interest in digital tools, automation, reporting improvements, and data quality is highly valued.
