Job summary

Hydro Building Systems Netherlands is seeking an Account Manager to oversee and grow an existing customer portfolio across the Netherlands. You will regularly meet customers and prospects, build long-term relationships and collaborate with internal teams to deliver professional support.

The role focuses on developing new opportunities, leading negotiations, and translating market insights into actions that drive revenue and margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial, economic, technical or construction-related field.
• 2+ years of relevant commercial experience, ideally in a technical or construction-related environment.
• Affinity with technology, construction and aluminium.
• Commercial, customer-focused and results-oriented.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
• Willing to visit customers and prospects throughout the Netherlands.
• Native-level Dutch and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and further develop an existing customer portfolio across the Netherlands.
• Actively prospect for and develop new commercial opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, developers, architects and consultants, identify new projects and assess commercial potential.
• Lead price, project and contract negotiations and collaborate with internal teams.
• Monitor market developments and translate customer needs into commercial actions.
• Take ownership of commercial results and proactively take corrective action where needed.
