Job summary

AtS&T in Delft seeks a Security & Compliance Officer to own and evolve our integrated Management System, aligning information security, quality, risk management and compliance across the organisation.

You will coordinate ISO 27001/9001, GDPR, NIS2 and defence requirements, while supporting audits and supplier assessments. The role offers direct exposure to senior management in a growing international technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in information security, quality management, compliance or a combination of these areas.
• Proven experience maintaining or working with ISO 27001 and/or ISO 9001 management systems.
• Experience coordinating audits, risk management and compliance activities.
• Strong knowledge of information security governance, risk management and internal auditing.
• Knowledge of GDPR, NIS2, business continuity and incident management.
• Experience with government or Defence customers is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AQAP standards, Dutch Defence security requirements (ABDO/ABRO) or similar defence frameworks is a strong advantage.
• Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Nationality of a NATO member country, with the ability to obtain the required NATO security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the company's integrated Management System.
• Coordinate compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, NIS2 and relevant customer and defence requirements.
• Coordinate internal, external, customer and supplier audits and certification activities.
• Maintain and coordinate the organisation's risk, incident and non-conformance registers.
• Identify, assess and escalate significant security, quality and compliance risks.
• Support business units with security and compliance requirements during proposals, contracts and project execution.
• Facilitate Management Reviews and provide clear reporting to senior management.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and quality documentation.
• Drive security and compliance awareness across the organisation.
• Support continuous improvement and work with process owners to strengthen controls and ways of working.
• Coordinate activities around business continuity, incident management and supplier security.
• Help translate changing regulations and customer requirements into practical actions for the business.
