Job summary

Science [&] Technology Corporation is seeking a Security & Compliance Officer in Delft to own and continuously improve the company’s integrated Management System, spanning information security, quality, risk management and compliance.

You will coordinate with senior management to embed security requirements into proposals, contracts and project execution, and support audits and certifications across ISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, NIS2 and defence standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in information security, quality management, compliance or combination thereof.
• Proven experience with ISO 27001 and/or ISO 9001 management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the integrated Management System (information security, quality, risk management and compliance).
• Coordinate compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, NIS2 and defence requirements; support audits and certifications.
• Maintain risk, incident and non-conformance registers; identify and elevate risks.
• Assist proposals, contracts and project execution with security and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate Management Reviews and report to senior management; develop and maintain policies and documentation.
• Drive security and compliance awareness across the organisation.

We are currently looking for a Security & Compliance Officerto join theteam in Delft

Security, compliance and quality are essential to everything we do.As S[&]T continues to grow within the Space, Defence and High-Tech sectors, we are looking for aSecurity & Compliance Officerto help build and continuously improve the framework that keeps our organisation secure, compliant and ready for the future.

In this role, you will take ownership of our integratedManagement System, bringing together information security, quality, risk management and compliance. You will work directly with senior management and across the organisation, ensuring that security and compliance requirements are not simply documented, but embedded into the way we work.

You will coordinate compliance with standards and regulations includingISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, NIS2 and defence-specific security requirements, while supporting customer and certification audits.

This is a role with significant responsibility and visibility. You will have the opportunity toshape processes, raise security awareness and influence how a growing international technology organisation manages risk and compliance.

As Security & Compliance Officer, you will:

• Own and continuously improve the company's integratedManagement System.
• Coordinate compliance withISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, NIS2and relevant customer and defence requirements.
• Coordinate internal, external, customer and supplieraudits and certification activities.
• Maintain and coordinate the organisation'srisk, incident and non-conformance registers.
• Identify, assess and elevate significant security, quality and compliance risks.
• Support business units with security and compliance requirements duringproposals, contracts and project execution.
• Facilitate Management Reviews and provide clear reporting to senior management.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and quality documentation.
• Drive security and compliance awareness across the organisation.
• Support continuous improvement and work with process owners to strengthen controls and ways of working.
• Coordinate activities aroundbusiness continuity, incident management and supplier security.
• Help translate changing regulations and customer requirements into practical actions for the business.

You will work closely withIT, HR, PMO, Operations and business leadership, acting as the connecting point between regulatory requirements and the practical needs of the organisation.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who combinesstrong security and compliance knowledge with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.

You bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree inInformation Security, Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, Business Administrationor a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experiencein information security, quality management, compliance or a combination of these areas.
• Proven experience maintaining or working withISO 27001 and/or ISO 9001management systems.
• Experience coordinatingaudits, risk management and compliance activities.
• Strong knowledge of information security governance, risk management and internal auditing.
• Knowledge ofGDPR, NIS2, business continuity and incident management.
• Experience withgovernment or Defence customersis highly desirable.
• Knowledge ofAQAP standards, Dutch Defence security requirements (ABDO/ABRO)or similar defence frameworks is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to influence and create awarenesswithout relying on formal authority.
• A structured, analytical and pragmatic approach to complex requirements.
• Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Nationality of a NATO member country, with the ability to obtain the requiredNATO security clearance.
