Job summary

The Social Hub in Groningen is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a dedicated kitchen section from mise-en-place to service, ensuring high standards of taste, temperature and presentation.

You'll work with a tight-knit team, prep daily, manage stock, and support Commis Chefs while maintaining hygiene and safety. English and Dutch required; enjoy learning and contributing to a dynamic hospitality concept.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready for the next step.
• Confident running your own section during busy services.
• Loves fresh, seasonal cooking and delivering quality at pace.
• Strong time management and calm, organized work.

Responsibilities

• Run your own kitchen section during prep and service.
• Cook and plate dishes that meet standards of taste, temperature, and presentation.
• Prep daily mise-en-place and keep your station spotless and organized.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters during service.
• Communicate with the team to keep service smooth and steady.
• Manage stock in your section, rotate products and cut waste.
• Follow food safety routines and complete hygiene checks.
• Bring your A-game for special events, menus and seasonal updates.
