Nexus Grid, a DNV Company, is building AI-driven grid intelligence and scaling rapidly in the Netherlands. As Head of Finance you own planning, reporting, cash and control, and you are the CEO’s partner on every decision that shapes the company’s financial future.

You will be a hands-on finance leader who creates structure where needed, delivers clear insight to the board and management, and helps the business make faster, better decisions in a fast-moving tech environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; RA/RC is a plus.
• Extensive finance leadership experience in scale-up, technology or B2B environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash management and management reporting.
• Experience with board and shareholder reporting and external auditors.
• Hands-on, structured approach with the confidence to challenge and advise management.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and the multi-year business plan, incl. revenue planning and cash runway scenarios.
• Lead monthly and quarterly closing, management reporting and board reporting with clear, timely insight.
• Manage cash, working capital, invoicing and collections across customers and regions.
• Partner with the CEO and board on funding, investor and shareholder topics, and strategic options.
• Build and improve finance processes, tooling and internal controls that scale with the business.
• Coordinate with accountants, auditors, tax advisors and banks, and keep compliance on track.
