Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Control Room Specialist in Duiven, the Netherlands, to support a highly automated logistics hub. You will monitor SCADA-enabled conveyors and material handling systems, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operation during rotating shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years in maintenance, automation, or SCADA, with a strong electrical/electromechanical background and fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

3–5 years in maintenance, automation, controls, or SCADA.
Technical background in electrical/electromechanical engineering.
Experience in control room or automation roles with SCADA.
Fluent in English and Dutch; knowledge of CMMS tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor SCADA-driven conveyor and material handling systems during live sorting.
Respond to alarms and coordinate Field Service Engineers to troubleshoot issues.
Provide local and remote troubleshooting across automation and mechanical systems.
Maintain records of breakdowns, maintenance, spare parts, LOTO procedures, and safety checks.
Mentor technicians and coordinate small technical projects on-site.
Use IBM Maximo CMMS for maintenance reporting and admin processes.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of sorting systems during shifts.
