Job description

Sales Support Professional – L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB)
About L’Oréal

L’Oréal is where FMCG meets Beauty. We believe in “beauty for all”, which is why we are committed to bringing the most relevant and innovative products to market for every consumer. In the L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) Division, we combine science, dermatology and health with strong brands such as La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Vichy and SkinCeuticals.

Our market is competitive and constantly evolving. That’s why we are digital-first, brand-focused, dynamic and data-driven. As a professional, you’ll be challenged to learn and make an impact every day: on the job, through seminars and workshops, and via international training programmes.

Who am I?

As a Sales Support Professional, you are the operational and administrative heart of our commercial team. You are the link between Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Care and Data Management.

You support Business Partners with ongoing activities, ensure flawless preparation for commercial cycles, and safeguard reliable data flows across all our core systems, including Kepler/Salesforce, SAP and Boost. From managing promotions, pricing conditions and materials to optimising sales processes, your overview and attention to detail keep the commercial engine running at full speed.

Role profile
Cycle Preparation & Promotion Management
  • Set up and coordinate activations/promotions, from the initial briefing with Marketing through to full registration in Kepler (Salesforce) and related systems.
  • Order forms and documentation: Prepare, update and distribute both standard order forms and specific campaign and activation forms.
  • Supply Chain and POS coordination: Monitor material and system codes with Supply Chain; update and maintain the PLV/POS tracking document with new codes in a timely manner.
  • Product orders: Place product orders through internal orders (IO) on behalf of Business Partners (BPs).
System Administration, Salesforce (Kepler) & Digital Tools
  • Kepler (Salesforce) administration: Create and maintain promotions, keep digital catalogues up to date, and set up targeted questionnaires/surveys for the field team.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Actively participate in UATs for FFA (Field Force Automation) and new Kepler upgrades/features.
  • NEO & Master Data: Act as the LDB contact for the SFS project, serve as LA (Local Adaptations) Owner, and oversee data quality and ongoing “Data Detox”.
  • Incident management: Identify IT/system errors, raise and follow up on IT and Mario tickets (Master Data Management), and proactively communicate with the teams concerned.
3. Daily, Weekly & Monthly Sales Operations
  • Information and sales reporting: Collect and share daily sales figures and sales analyses with the Independent team and management.
  • Availability & stock: Provide the Business Partners with weekly updates on product availability and stock levels.
  • Customer and data optimisation: Maintain up-to-date customer and address files, follow up on data orders for independents, and support the new customer creation process.
  • Customer communications: Send official mailings and announcements to pharmacies and customers at the request of internal departments.
Your profile

The ideal candidate for this role is enterprising, pragmatic and flexible. You have a commercial mindset and an analytical approach. L’Oréal is an international organisation with short lines of communication, so we are looking for team players who can adapt quickly. Excellent interpersonal skills are also important for building strong customer relationships and an internal network.

  • Education: Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in business, commerce or a data-related field.
  • Interest & passion: A clear passion for commercial dynamics and sales processes, with an interest in FMCG/Beauty/Pharma.
  • Analytical & accurate: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy when working with figures, prices and contracts.
  • Systems skills: Excellent command of Excel; experience with SAP, CRM/Salesforce (Kepler) and BI/reporting tools.
  • Process-oriented & pragmatic: Able to maintain an overview, bring structure to complex processes, and continuously strive to optimise processes and improve efficiency.
  • Communication & networking: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a real team player who can work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Languages: Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
What we offer

When you join L’Oréal, you’ll be given a high degree of responsibility from day one. To support your development, we offer an induction programme and an individual training programme. Training may take place locally or at our global headquarters in Paris. It’s an enriching experience where you’ll meet colleagues from around the world.

You’ll also find:

  • An inspiring work environment with ambitious colleagues;
  • Strong career prospects, with good opportunities for development and progression;
  • A competitive salary, reviewed annually based on performance;
  • A good benefits package, including a 13th-month payment, profit sharing, health insurance discounts and an attractive pension scheme;
  • Discounts on L’Oréal products and at strategic partners, including the Rob Peetoom hair salon chain;
  • Great extras, such as a range of company sports activities.

Finally, one of the great benefits of working at L’Oréal is the opportunity to collaborate with people in a wide range of roles. This gives you the chance to broaden your knowledge of different stakeholders. You’ll work with colleagues in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Digital and Finance.
