Job summary

Delta is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead an Energy Infrastructure team in Hoofddorp. You will drive strategy, development, and deployment of cutting-edge energy storage solutions, collaborating with R&D, engineering, and product teams to enhance system performance and business growth in renewables.

The role requires 10+ years in power conditioning or energy storage, strong leadership, and experience in converter/inverter technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years in Power Conditioning or energy storage with leadership experience.
• Proven track record in business development and sales in converters/inverters or BESS.
• Strong knowledge of BESS converters/inverters and power systems with commercial sales experience.
• Expertise in power electronics, system modeling, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of energy storage regulatory standards and market dynamics.
• Excellent leadership and project management abilities.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
• Experience with financial modeling for energy projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for energy infrastructure solutions.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of energy storage technologies (converter/inverter, battery storage, hybrid solutions, grid integration).
• Oversee feasibility studies for new projects and ensure successful implementation.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and product teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain relationships with utilities, developers, regulators, and technology providers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and market trends.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers and specialists.
• Support business development with technical expertise and market opportunities.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the energy infrastructure division.
