Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Sales Engineer in Veghel, Netherlands to transform customer needs into winning technical solutions. You’ll collaborate with sales managers from initial pitch to deal closure and serve as a bridge to the execution team, ensuring promises are delivered.

You’ll rely on your 5+ years of relevant experience, engineering background, and English fluency to craft compelling concepts and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in industrial, mechanical, or logistics engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Analytical with a knack for solving logistics challenges.
• Fluent in English; German or another language a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with the sales manager to craft and execute sales tactics that hit the mark.
• Address and resolve any commercial or tactical challenges directly with the sales manager, keeping the process smooth and on track.
• Oversee and coordinate all sales engineering deliverables from the very first bid to the final handover, ensuring everything is aligned and delivered on time.
• Bring in the right technical experts to help you create the most effective and innovative conceptual designs for our clients.
• Stay true to the sales strategy by taking the initiative and driving actions that align with our overall goals.
• Juggle multiple projects across various sales phases without missing a beat, ensuring everything moves forward seamlessly.
• Lead an internal support team including procurement, planning, concept design, and controls to ensure everyone is working towards the same vision.
• Listen closely to customer needs, analyse their requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Ensure that every procedural step is followed on time, adhering strictly to our sales process checklists, so nothing falls through the cracks.
