Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Global Parcel segment to translate customer needs into winning technical concepts. You’ll collaborate with the sales manager, coordinate engineering deliverables, and bridge the gap between sales and execution to ensure promises become reality.

Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s in industrial, mechanical, or logistics engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or logistics engineering.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• You are analytical, with a knack for solving logistics challenges.
• You are fluent in English, and German or another language is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with the sales manager to craft and execute sales tactics that hit the mark.
• Address and resolve commercial or tactical challenges directly with the sales manager.
• Oversee and coordinate all sales engineering deliverables from the first bid to handover.
• Bring in technical experts to create effective conceptual designs for clients.
• Stay aligned with the sales strategy and drive actions towards our goals.
• Juggle multiple projects across sales phases and ensure progress.
• Lead internal support teams to align on the shared vision.
• Listen to customer needs, analyze requirements, and translate into actionable solutions.
• Follow every step of the sales process Checklists on time.

Education
