Job summary

Unilever offers a Communications Internship in Rotterdam, designed to connect our business, brands, people and sustainability ambitions with key stakeholders. You will contribute to strategic communications, content development and reputation management in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Dutch university (HBO/Bachelor/Master) or Master’s program.
• Eager to learn, take ownership of projects, and grow professionally.
• Available for 5-6 months starting Feb-March 2027 (minimum 32-40 hours per week).
• Available to work on site 2-3 days a week at Rotterdam Office.

Responsibilities

• Creating engaging communication materials for internal and external audiences, including articles, newsletters, presentations and digital content.
• Supporting planning and execution of communication campaigns and engagement initiatives across channels.
• Conducting research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices.
• Gathering, analysing and translating insights into clear, audience-focused messages and recommendations.
• Supporting projects related to sustainability, corporate reputation and employee engagement.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across functions to coordinate activities and ensure effective delivery.
• Assisting with development of communication strategies, content calendars, events and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Managing communication channels to keep information relevant and accessible.

Education

Enrolled in Dutch university (HBO/Bachelor/Master)
