Job summary

Gigs is seeking a Roaming Lead to own the day-to-day operations and the strategic direction of the Global Roaming product. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to scale coverage, pricing, and reliability across countries.

Located in Amsterdam, this role sits within the Connectivity team and offers a clear path to Head of Roaming with team and P&L ownership. Some travel to hubs and partner sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in an analytical, operational, or commercial leadership role in tech, consulting, telecom, or fast-paced startups.
• Experience owning a P&L or leading a team is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; comfortable with spreadsheets and new tools (Notion, Lightdash or Looker, SQL is a plus).
• Clear written and verbal communication, including coordinating with external providers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Interest in telecom, roaming, or connectivity is a plus, but curiosity and execution matter more.

Responsibilities

• Own Roaming vertical strategy end-to-end across direction, execution, operational excellence, market insights and thought leadership.
• Productize Global Roaming into a scalable product with feature development and QA collaboration.
• Be the voice of the market by owning dashboards and translating insights into product roadmap.
• Own provider, coverage, and commercial performance including contracts and provider terms.
• Obsess over quality, features, and testing to improve roaming UX.
• Handle escalations and troubleshooting with Support, Product, and Engineering.
