Job description

The Revenue Management team at Landal is responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability by developing, analyzing, and implementing pricing strategies. Everything we do is rooted in data-driven decision-making, intelligent automation, and optimal market positioning of our parks.

Revenue Management works closely with IT, Business Development, Commerce, and our parks. In this role, you will be the key link between analytics, systems, and operational processes ensuring that our Revenue Analysts have tools that are reliable, scalable, and efficient.

You’ll be doing

As a Senior Improvement Specialist Systems, you ensure that all systems, processes, and tools for pricing and forecasting operate flawlessly. You are responsible for the process and system foundations of Revenue Management by analyzing, enhancing, and developing systems essential for Landal’s ability to sell our products to our guests.

You understand complex process flows, can identify bottlenecks, and help build the technology of the future by working with internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will also lead system‑improvement projects and new tooling initiatives, translating the requirements from Revenue Management into IT language and vice versa. Your responsibilities include:

  • Initiating, designing, and driving improvements in both existing and new Revenue Management systems and tooling.
  • Designing the architecture underlying pricing, forecasting, and optimization processes.
  • Ensuring the daily reliability, accuracy, and performance of all RM systems.
  • Team lead position where you give functional guidance and support to the Improvement Specialist Systems and the Inventory Control & Distribution Specialist
  • Setting and executing the tooling and systems roadmap, including project management responsibilities
  • Leading complex RM and IT‑related projects with tight timelines.
  • Acting as subject matter expert on Revenue Management Systems (e.g., IDeaS) and their integration within the broader IT landscape.
  • Reimagining processes and proposing innovative ways to leverage data and automation.
  • Translating business needs into IT specifications and ensuring seamless cooperation between Revenue Management, IT, Pricing, and other internal teams.
  • Maintaining process control: you know exactly how the process map works, where risks are, and where efficiency can be gained.

Your workplace is our new office in Amsterdam. Working from home is possible, with the expectation of being in the office at least three days per week when working full‑time.

You are analytical, process‑driven, passionate about improving systems and workflows. You thrive at the intersection of IT and commercial decision‑making, and you enjoy unravelling and improving complex processes. You take ownership, switch easily between detail and helicopter view, and know exactly which stakeholders to involve at the right moment. You are structured, results‑oriented, deadline‑driven and proactive, able to translate opportunities into measurable impact. You also bring:

  • Academic working and thinking level with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Revenue Management and familiarity with pricing/forecasting techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of Revenue Management Systems such as IDeaS
  • Proven experience in project management within IT or RM‑related environments.
  • Strong interest in process optimization, data, and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills: you can connect Revenue Analysts, IT teams, management, and external vendors.
  • A proactive, steady working style: you bring structure into a complex landscape and can think of solutions for technically complex problems.
We offer

  • A salary between €4.808 and €6.869 gross per month on a full‑time basis*.
  • 27 vacation days for a full‑time working week with the option to purchase 10 additional days off.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of (partly) working from home.
  • Working from home allowance of €2.45 per home working day.
  • A travel allowance in accordance with the Landal travel allowance scheme based on €0.23 cents per km. If you decide to travel by public transport, your travel costs will be 100% reimbursed. Roompot/Landal wants to encourage its employees to come to the workplace by public transport.
  • Lease‑a‑bike plan.

  • Participation in the Recreation pension fund. The standard retirement date in this scheme is 67 years. The premium for this old‑age pension is 21.8% of the pension basis, with Landal and you each paying half.

* A full‑time employment contract at Landal has a 38‑hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5‑day working week. If you have a part‑time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.
