Job summary

New Balance Amsterdam stores are seeking a proactive associate supervisor who can engage customers, coach the team, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the shop floor and back of house. You will analyze store performance, train staff on NB products and selling techniques, handle scheduling, and uphold brand standards while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Excellent communication, maths for basic stock checks, and a flexible weekend/holiday schedule are essential in this

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory position and leadership skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and passion for retail.
• Knowledge of retail KPIs and basic stock/operational processes.
• Experience with POS systems and checkout procedures.
• Excellent communication and team coaching abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse store performance and adjust to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Deliver total customer satisfaction via our service model and drive sales.
• Train team on products, NB technologies, and seasonal lines.
• Coordinate scheduling and rota planning with Store Manager.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of store staff.
• Maintain loss prevention procedures and stock control.
• Assist on shop floor and back of house with retail duties.
