Job summary

New Balance Amsterdam stores are seeking a proactive associate supervisor who can engage customers, coach the team, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the shop floor and back of house. You will analyze store performance, train staff on NB products and selling techniques, handle scheduling, and uphold brand standards while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Excellent communication, maths for basic stock checks, and a flexible weekend/holiday schedule are essential in this

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory position and leadership skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and passion for retail.
• Knowledge of retail KPIs and basic stock/operational processes.
• Experience with POS systems and checkout procedures.
• Excellent communication and team coaching abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Analyses the performance of the store (for example, bestsellers, space allocation, etc.) and makes the necessary adjustments to increase productivity and efficiency
• Delivers total customer satisfaction via our service model and boosts sales through the customer experience, using advanced sales techniques to achieve results
• Understanding customer expectations and training your team to always reach or exceed their expectations
• Guides and provides training to all team members in relation to products, NB technologies and seasonal products
• Assists in co-ordinating rotaand scheduling
• Minimises losses implementing, monitoring, and tracking all procedures of loss prevention
• Supports the recruitment, induction, training, and development of the store team
• Key holder for the store andan active member on the shop floor and back of house carrying out retail duties - sales, customer service, stock control
• Dealing with enquiries and an escalation route for customer complaints
• Understanding and supporting store operations, policies and procedures via the retail game changer
• Adhere to company’s policies and procedures
• Perform other duties that as required from the business or Store Manager

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
