Job summary

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Outlets Manager to lead the restaurant team in the absence of the Restaurant and F&B Manager, ensuring exceptional guest service. You will maintain a strong on-floor presence, coach staff, and work with the team to uphold quality and efficiency on a diverse range of outlets.

You should have 2+ years in hotel restaurant supervision, a hospitality degree, and fluent English (Dutch preferred).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Restaurant Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a hotel.
• Degree in Hospitality / Tourism, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Great language and communication skills in English; Dutch preferred.
• Encouraging, reassuring, and a true team player mindset.
• Experience with a POS system.
• Flexible schedule; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA passport or valid permit).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Restaurant in collaboration with the Restaurant and F&B Manager.
• Assist with creative suggestions and ideas for the F&B operation.
• Maintain a strong authentic presence on the floor and coach the team.
• Lead and train associates; participate in new hire selection.
• Ensure fresh products, menu knowledge, upsell alternatives, and upsell opportunities.
• Keep outlets clean and organized; handle guest complaints to maintain satisfaction.
• Assist in inventory management and equipment maintenance.
