Job summary

Jobgether is assisting a partner to recruit a remote Trademark & IP Law Paralegal based in the Netherlands. You will support U.S. attorneys in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and related IP filings, coordinating with clients and foreign counsel to protect IP rights.

The role emphasizes accuracy, deadline-driven work, and independent execution in a fully remote environment. A strong background in U.S. trademark procedures and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional paralegal, lawyer, or attorney experience.
• At least 2 years in a U.S. trademark or IP law firm.
• Experience with U.S. trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
• Experience filing USPTO applications, amendments, renewals, and post-registration maintenance.
• Experience with USPTO Office Action responses.
• Strong drafting, research, and document preparation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through the trademark lifecycle from filing to maintenance and disputes.
• Prepare and submit USPTO filings, declarations, and related documents.
• Assist with Office Action responses by gathering evidence and organizing materials.
• Monitor deadlines, docketing, and portfolio renewals for accuracy.
• Maintain digital case files and IP portfolios in case management systems.
• Coordinate with clients and foreign associates on global trademark matters.
• Conduct preliminary trademark searches and review USPTO records.
• Support TTAB oppositions and other IP-related proceedings.
